Chamber Accepting Applications for Executive Assistant
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a person with organizational and people skills for the part-time position of Assistant to the Executive Director. Applications are being accepted through May 4th. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
The Chamber has resumed Ribbon Cuttings for new members and expansions of existing members.
Please join us for the official Ribbon Cutting at the new Sassy But Classy Boutique at 160 West Main Street in downtown Lebanon Saturday May 22nd. The Ribbon Cutting will be held at 10 a.m. with Open House to follow. Light Refreshment will be served.
And join us for the official Ribbon Cutting for School Grounds Coffee in Centre Square at 237 N. Spalding Avenue in Lebanon Friday June 4th at 12 noon.
Both events are open to the public. Current Covid safety protocols will be observed at all Ribbon Cuttings.
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is excited to now help Chamber members have access to more affordable employee health insurance and business workers compensation insurance through a partnership with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.The Chamber will be hosting an online Webinar and information Zoom meeting to discuss these programs and answer questions Wednesday May 12th at 9 a.m. Please email [email protected] to register.
Chamber Luncheons Resume
The Chamber will also resume Monthly Luncheons starting Thursday May 27th at 12 noon at the Marion County Extension Office. This will be the first Chamber Luncheon since October 2019 and will be sponsored by Central Kentucky Community Action Agency. The meal will be catered by Big Papa’s Smokehouse. Chamber Annual Awards Banquet
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet, which was postponed in January, is now scheduled for Thursday June 17th at Centre Square. The social begins at 6 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Awards will be presented to Citizen of the Year, Outstanding First Responder, Farmer, Educator, Business Person, and the Lebanon Main Street Committee Downtown Beautification Award.
