Board Nomination Deadline Nov. 10th!

The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to fill vacancies on the Chamber Board of Directors effective January 1, 2023.

The Board of Directors is the policy making body of the Chamber. Board Members represent a broad cross-section of the business and professional leadership of the community. Directors support the organization, its programs and policies and do all they can to develop and maintain high standards set by previous Board of Directors.

Board Members responsibilities include attendance and participation:

  • Annual Planning Conference
  • Annual Installation Dinner
  • Regular or special Board meeting
  • Chamber sponsored events.
  • Chamber fund-raising activities.

Any member of, at least, one year is eligible to to serve on the Board.
Past Board members can also be nominated and serve.

Nomination deadline is  4 p.m. November 10, 2022.

Chamber Monthly Luncheons

The next Marion County Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon will be held Thursday November 3rd at 11:45 a.m. at the Marion County Extension Office on Fairgrounds Rd. The Chamber Luncheon is sponsored by Inter-County Energy Cooperative. The featured speaker is Joe Settles, Manager Member Services at East Kentucky Power Cooperative. The Luncheon will be catered by Marion County Cattlemen’s Association. Tickets for the luncheon are $15.
